We are the research division of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Associates
Our department is focused on expanding research and conducts studies for various medical conditions such as asthma and seasonal allergies (hay fever). Our research department has been involved with clinical trials leading to FDA approval of medications such as: Azmacort, Symbicort, Advair, Singulair, Allegra, Flonase, Xolair, Flovent and Accolate. Research studies are a vital process to help understand various medical conditions and discovering new and better treatments. Without volunteers for clinical trials, we would not be able to advance medicine.
We encourage all patients to consider involvement in clinical trials.
Our first priority is the safety and health of those who participate in these trials. In addition to receiving free health care assessments and medications, participants are also compensated for their involvement and time.

Currently, we have clinical trials in the areas of Asthma, Chronic Idiopathic Urticaria, Hereditary Angioedema, and the Common Cold (people with Asthma). We always welcome patients interested in participating in a Clinical Trial.
Our research site has done multiple HAE trials for different pharmaceutical companies. We are now screening for a dose escalation study and an attack protocol. Both studies should continue through out 2011.
We are looking for subjects with a diagnosis of Chronic Idiopathic Urticaria. If you have hives daily even while taking antihistamines, you may qualify to screen for this protocol.
We typically will recruit for Asthma Studies throughout the year. So, please complete the Research Questionnaire, and we will put you in our database. At this time, we are looking for subjects with persistent mild to moderate asthma that have been on an inhaled steroid for at least three months.
All of our studies are conducted following Good Clinical Practice Guidelines. They are monitored closely by the providers of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Associates and a well qualified staff.
